Giochi Preziosi Brings Bing to French Retail

Toy distributor newly appointed following ratings success for the pre-school series

London, 13^th June 2023 – Acamar Films partners with Giochi Preziosi as the master toy distributor for Bing in France. A range of Bing plush and plastic figurines from Acamar Film’s master toy partner, Golden Bear, will be available in French retailers from Spring 2024.

Bing has been performing strongly in France. The multi-award-winning, animated pre-school series was the most watched pre-school programme in April on national broadcaster France 5. Bing also achieved the highest weekend audience share amongst 4-10 years old with 19.7% in the same month (Mediametrie, April 2023). The first series of Bing (26 episodes) launched on France 5 in January 2023 having initially debuted in France on the Okoo digital platform in November 2022 with distribution across the Okoo brand on MyCanal, Orange, Samsung TV, SFR and Free.

The success of Bing’s performance across Okoo and France 5 is mirrored by strong viewership on YouTube. Bing’s official French-language YouTube channel (YouTube.com/@BingFrancais) forms part of Acamar’s growing network of 23 localised Bing channels – a network which collectively generates in excess of 1 million hours of watch time every day.
